About the blog and blogger

This is a blog about sports masquerading as a blog about philosophy, politics, sociology, economics, and punditry. Or vice versa. You can find out more about its range of topics in the first posts, here and here. It is hosted by me, Wayne Norman, a professor in Duke University’s department of philosophy and Kenan Institute for Ethics. One of these days I’ll write a book on some of the themes developed here. And if you prod me enough in the comment space, you’ll probably end up with a shout-out and a free copy.

To receive notices of regular updates to this blog, enter your e-mail in the space under the heading “E-mail Subscriptions” in the right-hand column. Follow me on Twitter @waynenorman, or e-mail me at wayne.norman (at) gmail.com.
