Student essay competition on Ethics, Business, and Sport

Do you buy into the mission of This Sporting Life and want to earn some cash explaining why? And are you a student? The International Pierre de Coubertin Committee and the UK-based Institute for Business Ethics are offering £2,000 for the best student essay on “Olympic ideals applied to business.”

The competition’s overarching aim is to promote the application of the Olympic ideals to the world of business, including the business of sport itself.

In keeping with the ideals of fairness, excellence, participation and peace that drove Pierre de Coubertin, in the early 20th century, to revive the Olympic movement which was born in ancient Greece we invite students to examine how ethics, business and sport can interact in the 21st century.
